The Black Island is one of the comic albums from the popular series by Hergé, The Adventures of Tintin. First published in 1937 in France, this book revolves around Snowy’s recurring misbehavior and heroism. Snowy is the protagonist in this book instead of Tintin, as is the case of other books in the same series. The readers get to read an adventurous story as Tintin along with his favorite dog Snowy embarks on another journey to solve an exciting mystery. There is a mysterious plane crash, but Tintin, somehow, is safe and sound. As the young detective tries to figure out the bigger plan behind, he is led to Scotland. He comes to know about a monster that is living in the Black Island. This story is about how Tintin and Snowy solve the mystery. This edition of the book comes along with a detailed guide that details the foundation of the Tintin adventure. Moreover, this edition is loaded with images. Also, there are some facts included in the book for the young readers. It is believed that this is the only Tintin book that was published in different editions. The first one got published in French in 1937, the second one in 1943, and the third one in 1966.
